📋 What does this module do?

Products is the catalog and inventory behind Tickets (and the rest of the platform): every item is registered here with its prices and units, stock is tracked per warehouse, stock moves between warehouses, shrinkage gets logged, and temporary promotions can cover a range of products. Tickets searches and sells directly against this same catalog — no duplicate capture.

💲 Price tiers

Retail, Wholesale, Manufacturing, Employee and Sale — each product can have whichever it needs.

📦 Units and presentation

The purchase unit and the sale unit can differ (e.g. fabric comes in by the roll but sells by the meter), with a conversion factor between the two.

🏬 Per-warehouse inventory

Real stock per warehouse, with a full audit trail of every movement (sale, purchase, transfer, shrinkage, adjustment).

🚚 Transfers

Move stock between warehouses without going through a ticket.

📉 Shrinkage

Log loss or damage with a reason and a responsible user — decrements stock immediately.

🏷️ Range promotions

A special price for a range of products during a defined date window.

🌐 Shared catalog

Adopt items already loaded into the platform's shared catalog without re-typing their sheet.

Upload several photos per product to show in quotes, tickets and catalogs.

Create or edit

Name, SKU, barcode, categories, department, SAT tax code, price tiers, whether it's a supply/service, whether it needs production, and whether it's active.

Purchase and sale units

When the unit you buy in (e.g. a roll) differs from the unit you sell in (a meter), capture the conversion factor so stock gets decremented correctly.

Barcode

If the product has a barcode on file, you can print its label directly from the list.

💡 A product can belong to several categories at once (category is no longer a single fixed value).

🏬 Warehouses

Warehouse Staff (admins only) assigns each person the warehouses they're responsible for, mirroring Department Staff in Tickets — this lets you restrict who can see or move stock in which warehouse.

🚚 Warehouse Transfers

Pick a product, an origin and destination warehouse, and a quantity — "Transfer" decrements the origin and increments the destination in one move, without a sale or purchase in between.

📉 Shrinkage

For loss, damage or write-offs that don't go through a ticket: pick a product, warehouse, quantity and reason — stock is decremented immediately and its own movement record is kept (visible on the same screen, most recent entries).

🏷️ Range Promotions

Admins only. Define a header, a product range (from ID X to ID Y) and a start/end date — while the promotion is active, that range applies its sale price automatically.

🌐 Shared Catalog

Admins only. Shows generic products available to every entity on the platform (barcode, SAT tax code, name). Adopt the ones you sell — they're added to your own catalog with your own price, without duplicating the product's sheet or losing the link to the original.

🖼️ Product Images

Admins only. Drag and drop one or more photos per product; they display as a grouped carousel per product on the same screen.

🔧 Troubleshooting

Can't find a product while selling in Tickets — check that it's marked Active here; an inactive product doesn't show up in the ticket's search.

The promotion isn't being applied — check that today's date falls within the start/end window and that the product is within the configured ID range.

Can't move stock into a warehouse — ask an admin to assign you that warehouse under "Warehouse Staff".

Adopted the wrong item from the shared catalog — edit it from the Products catalog like any other; only the price and a few fields are yours, the original sheet is never modified.
