πŸ“‹ What's in Rewards?

Rewards is a set of related tools rather than one screen: platform-wide badges/ranks, a per-business loyalty points program, discount coupons, gift cards, and a promotions/greetings messaging system. Each has its own screen; this guide covers all of them.

πŸŽ–οΈ Badges & Ranks

Earned automatically from real actions (reviews, completed work orders, etc.) across the platform.

⭐ Loyalty Points

Per-business point tiers tied to sale amounts.

🎟️ Coupons

Generate and manage discount coupons.

🎁 Gift Cards

Sell and track prepaid gift card balances.

πŸ“£ Promotions & Messages

Scheduled promos and birthday/holiday greetings, sent by email.

πŸŽ–οΈ Badges & Ranks

"My Rewards" shows badges and rank progress you've earned by doing real things elsewhere on the platform (submitting a review, completing a work order, etc.) β€” you don't request these directly. Some badges have a cost and go through a verification step before becoming active.

⭐ Loyalty Points

"Tabla de Rangos" defines how many points a sale earns based on its amount β€” e.g. $0–100 = 1 point, $101–500 = 5 points. These ranges belong to your business and can't overlap.

1

Define price tiers

"Tabla de Rangos" β€” set a start/end price and the points a sale in that range earns.

2

Award points

"Puntos por Ventas" applies the table automatically to a sale; "Puntos Manuales" lets you award/adjust points directly.

3

Check a customer's points

"Checa Tus Puntos" looks up a customer's current balance.

4

Redeem for products

"CatΓ‘logo de Productos" lets a customer browse products and see their available point balance to redeem against β€” separate from "CatΓ‘logo de Puntos," which is where you set up that catalog.

🎟️ Coupons

Create discount coupons with a code prefix, discount value, and validity window. Coupons can be exported (including as PDF) for printing or handing out in person.

🎁 Gift Cards

Sell a gift card to a recipient email for a fixed amount, tracked as a balance that goes down as it's redeemed. "My Gift Cards" lists everything you've sold, with running balances.

πŸ”’ Admin-only for now. Gift cards aren't open to the general platform yet β€” only administrators can access this screen. A card is only ever created after PayPal confirms a completed payment; choosing a tier and submitting doesn't create anything by itself.
ℹ️ Which business can a card be used on? Today, any of them. A gift card doesn't belong to any one business/entity β€” it's a platform-wide balance. Whoever holds the code can redeem it at Cashier (Tickets) against tickets from any business registered on chzr.llc, not just the one it was bought from. So right now this isn't "Business A's own gift card for its own customers" β€” it's more like a balance spendable at any register on the platform. If per-business gift cards (only valid at that business's own Cashier) are ever needed, that would require adding an entity column to the gift card table and checking it at redemption time.

πŸ“£ Promotions & Messages

Three related screens work together to send automatic emails:

πŸ“… Special Dates

A shared calendar (Christmas, birthdays, etc.) β€” this affects every business on the platform, so it's admin-only.

πŸ’¬ Messages

Your own greeting text for each special date, filterable by gender/age β€” this is per-business.

πŸ”₯ Promotions

Time-boxed promos (name, description, start/end date) for your own business.

πŸ’‘ A daily job actually sends the emails β€” birthdays, matching special dates, and any currently-running promotions all go out together in one message per contact, once per day.

πŸ”§ Troubleshooting

A promotion/message I created isn't sending β€” check its Active toggle and, for promotions, that today falls within its start/end date range.
A customer didn't get an email today β€” only one email per contact per business per day goes out, even if several things (birthday + promo) qualify β€” they'll all be combined into that one message.
I can't edit Special Dates β€” that calendar is shared platform-wide, so only administrators can change it. Your own greeting text for each date is under "Messages," which you can edit freely.
